Interveiw with the Vampire

this week i read Interview with the Vampire and Steven King's Salem's Lot, two great novels. Interview with the Vampire is a great story of vampires from the new world starting in New Orleans and then venture to Europe and Paris. the book is great about telling you how the vampires see the world, how they feel and basically what its like being a vampire. I have read the other vampire chronicles books from Anne Rice - the Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned , great books about the life of Lestat the vampire. Salem's Lot, written by the great author Stephen King, is set in a small New England town (like the majority of his books) and tell a very different story of the vampires living there.

Monster Island

the book was pretty good concidering the subject matter, zombies just freak me the hell out!!!!! i have watched Night of the living dead and return of the living dead, they were very creepy and freaked the hell out of me ruining all zombie related books/movies for me. but i did watch zombie land and parts of  that was good. i still cant watch undead zombies wanting to eat your brains

Frankenstein

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is a great novel and  I really enjoyed reading it. It differed greatley from the old black and white movies i saw when i was a kid where the monster was more of a mute creature but in the book the monster gained intelligence and speech. it was ove all a better story than the different version in the black and white movie. in the 90s there was a new mary shelleys frankenstein movie which was very close to the book and a very good movie. i kept picturing the monster looking like a cross between Robert DiNiro monster and the Frankenstein monster from the movie Van Helsing .
